In this policy, “Find Your City”, “we” and “us” mean the operator above. This policy covers the public website and the early-access list. The Find Your City app will have its own privacy information, shown before you share any birth details.
Launch-time review item: a postal address for data-protection requests, and whether a representative or data-protection officer is required, will be added after professional legal review.
What we collect on this website
- Early-access sign-ups: your email address, the language of the page you signed up on, and which version of the consent wording you agreed to (currently “waitlist-2026-09-v1”). The email address is stored encrypted.
- Emails you send us: your message and email address.
- Anonymous statistics — only if you allow them: pages viewed and simple interactions (for example “early-access button clicked” or “FAQ opened”), counted without cookies and without building a personal profile. We never send your email, what you type into city search, or birth details to statistics.
- Technical logs: our hosting providers process technical data such as IP address and browser type to deliver the site, prevent abuse (for example limiting repeated sign-up attempts) and keep it secure.
The question, trip and city demos on the homepage run in your browser. When live city search is switched on, the letters you type are sent to our city-search service to find matching places; they aren't linked to you or kept as a profile.
We don't use advertising trackers and we don't sell personal information.
Why we use it, and on what basis
- To send you early-access invitations and updates — based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To count anonymous visits and clicks — based on your consent.
- To reply to your messages, and to keep the website secure and free of abuse — based on our legitimate interest in running a safe service.
Birth details and private questions
The Find Your City product will ask for your birth date, birth time and birthplace, and optionally deeper profile answers and private questions. We treat this information as personal and sensitive. It is not collected on this website.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run Find Your City — website hosting, backend and database hosting, email, and (only with your consent) privacy-friendly statistics. They process data on our instructions. We may disclose information if the law requires it. Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; where that happens, appropriate safeguards are used.

How long we keep it
Early-access sign-ups are kept until the product launches and you've had the chance to join, or until you ask us to remove you — whichever comes first. Emails are kept as long as needed to deal with your message.

Your rights
Under data-protection law (including the GDPR) you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your information, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time. Email findyourcityapp@gmail.com — mention “privacy” in the subject and we'll help. You also have the right to complain to a data-protection authority; in Spain that is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD).
Age
Find Your City is for adults aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger.
